How to prepare a first equipment inquiry

A practical checklist for distributors and importers requesting comparable proposals.

Equipment workshop reference

Your market and customer

Tell us the destination country and whether the equipment is for resale, rental or project use.

The job and model shortlist

Describe the application and any preferred models. Attach a reference photo if the model is uncertain.

Quantity and configuration

Provide an estimated quantity, engine preference, required accessories and branding requests. MOQ and customization availability must be confirmed for the proposed configuration.

Shipment and documentation

Include the destination port, preferred shipment terms and required product documents. Packing size, weight, shipment costs and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.

A useful next step

Ask for a focused proposal with exact model codes, specifications, packing and the commercial terms needed to compare your options.
